Alexander Craggs
My name is Alexander Craggs and I am running as an Independent candidate for Common Council in your ward.
I say your ward, but it is also my ward as I have been based here for 12 years which means that I know Langbourn well and I am keen to protect all our interests.
I am the Deputy CEO of a Lloyd’s syndicate and our office is situated at 21 Lime Street. Having worked both abroad and in London, I benefit from a broad experience and skill set that will be useful for this role.
I live in Sevenoaks with my wife and 3 children and I commute up to the city on a daily basis. I have been a Freeman of the City of London since I was 27 and I am also a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Grocers.
I care deeply about the City and I worry for its future. If you choose me as one of your Common Councillors, it will enable me to become more involved. I would be very grateful for your support so that I can try to make a difference.
You can cast three votes as Langbourn Ward elects three to the Common Council. I know both Judith and Philip well and they have encouraged me to stand alongside them for this election which I am delighted to do. We will be stronger as a team – we know we will be able to work together effectively and with your votes, we can do just that.
Please vote for Judith and Philip on the 24th March – they have done a fantastic job representing you for the past 9 years. Please also vote for Alexander Craggs – the choice for a truly independent and local candidate.
